Canada is a beautiful and lovely country, and that is a well-known fact, however today it’s my pleasure to comment on why I perceive its beauty.

First of all, let’s start with the obvious. Canada is a developed country, and such status gives it a footing for global recognition, impact, and top notch standard of living, for instance education, healthcare, infrastructure, public investment and so on. However, it’s not that characteristic I wanted to highlight today, for there are other countries with similar and better standards of living, be they measured in economics, in global impact, or else, but about that single trait, not necessarily shared by all the other developed countries that makes Canada so special.

What I am talking about, is something that transcends the material. It’s some uncountable, unmeasurable that although not appreciated as much by everyone, it’s a necessary part of the human experience, and that characteristic it’s deeply rooted within Canada’s multicultural richness and hospitality, and that characteristic is emotion. See, both times when I traveled to Canada, even only as a puny youngster, something that didn’t pass unnoticed was people’s hospitality and its multiculturalism. Never before while travelling have I felt so at ease than on Canadian streets, and talking with Canadian people. In my eyes that kindness arises not only from a love towards the others, but in favor of a greater cause, be it the welfare of the country, or be it the welfare of foreigners.

Long story short, the precise reason I consider Canada as a wonderful country is its hospitality. Its strength arises from the love, and the concern among its peers. Not only the country but the very people are welcoming to foreigners, so they can all help build a better Canada, and a better world. They say a chain is as strong as its weakest link, and I feel Canada covers that.
